Welcome to Riseley Street Dental!

We have four appointment types available for new patients

1. Urgent treatment - This appointment type is for toothaches, broken teeth, and any other urgent dental matters needing prompt treatment.

2. New patient check and clean - You will have one of our dentists perform a thorough examination and consultation, followed by a clean by either the same dentist or a member of our hygiene team depending on availability.

3. New patient consult - Select this option if you would like to see and speak to a dentist regarding a specific matter but prefer not to have a comprehensive examination.

4. Clean only (no check up) - Only select this option if you have recently had a check up. Our amazing hygiene team looks after our hygiene program, and will be available to book in the system.

Please reach out to us if you are unsure, or need any help!

Welcome back!

Please select from the following options:

1. Clean only (no check up) - Only select this option if you have recently had a check up! Our hygiene team looks after our hygiene program, and will be available to book with in the system.

2. Existing patient check and clean - Your clean will be with a member of our hygiene team, and the dentist on duty will be performing your check up during your appointment. If you have a preferred dentist, ensure that you book your appointment on these days:

Matt - Wednesdays to Saturdays
Greg - Mondays and Tuesdays
Eunice - Mondays to Wednesdays

3. Urgent treatment - This appointment type is for toothaches, broken teeth, and any other urgent dental matters needing prompt treatment.

*If you are wanting to book for treatment that has been previously planned, please reach out to us via phone or text and we will book that in for you for the appropriate length of time as prescribed by your clinician.

We have two appointment types available for patients under 18, and are seen by our highly experienced and friendly oral health therapists.

1. Check and clean - At Riseley Street Dental, children’s check-ups and cleans are carried out by our Oral Health Therapists (OHTs). OHTs are specially trained in children’s dentistry – their training focuses on preventive care, healthy habits, and making dental visits a positive experience for kids.

2. Urgent treatment - This appointment type is for toothaches, broken teeth, and any other urgent dental matters needing prompt treatment.

Please don't hesitate to get in touch if the right date or time is not available and we will see how we can help!

Most of our scale and clean appointments are carried out by our oral health therapy (hygiene) team. Their entire training is focused on preventive care, gum health, children's dentistry and perform professional cleans day in and day out — which means they’re often best placed to detect early signs of gum problems and other subtle changes that may go unnoticed.

That said, a dentist will always attend your check-up as part of the visit. So even if your clean is with a hygiene clinician, you’ll still have a dentist conduct your examination, discuss findings, and provide any necessary diagnosis or treatment planning.

This team-based model gives you the benefit of two sets of expert eyes on your oral health, making the appointment more thorough and more valuable overall. We’ll collaborate on any findings and decide together on the best course of action for your care — which is not only reassuring, but good clinical practice.

If you still prefer to have your cleans done by your dentist, you’re always welcome to reach out via phone or text, and we’ll be happy to arrange that for you.

No problem — just give us a call or send a text, and we’ll happily see if we can find a spot that works better for you. We understand schedules get busy, and we’ll always do our best to accommodate where we can.
